What Sali stores

Sali is a front-facing mirror booth. When you pick or write an opening line, record a reaction, save a clip, or set a desk photo and name, that material is stored in the app’s folder on this iPhone. Sali does not run an account server for those files.

Camera, Photos, Microphone

The front camera is requested after you tap Open Mirror, then Continue on the front-camera note, so the person in frame can see themselves with your line. Recording does not capture extra sound. Photo Library add access is requested after you tap Save Video, so a reaction clip can be written into Photos. Album access is requested after you tap Album on Desk for a desk photo. The microphone is requested after you tap Dictate Line, and is used only to fill the custom line field. Declining a prompt leaves typing, preset lines, and the on-screen overlay available.

Notifications and tracking

After Write Your Opening Line, iOS may show App Tracking Transparency, then the notification prompt. Sali does not use an advertising identifier to follow you across other companies’ apps or websites. Picking a line and opening the mirror still work if you decline tracking or notifications.

Purchases

Optional Video Credits are Apple consumable purchases. Apple processes the payment. Sali keeps a local ledger of verified transaction identifiers and remaining credits on this device. Those credits cannot be restored after the app is removed or the desk is erased.

Clearing data

Delete Clip removes one saved reaction. Clear All Local Data and Delete Account remove clips, drafts, sample history, desk details, and remaining Video Credits on this installation.
